Spring Fever.
I've got it bad.
Yesterday the average temperature was 48 degrees.
Heavenly.

I was talking to my kids today about that feeling you get inside of your tummy when the earth warms up for spring. It's that end-of-the-school-year sensation that tickles your insides, making them itch. It becomes impossible to sit still. It becomes impossible to focus.
Too bad the feeling has come early this year. But I am grateful for the glimmer of hope the weather has offered. Winter is almost over. It was a very mild winter... so I haven't been complaining too much. But I'll be happy when the earth is no longer painted in hues of brown, gray, and blue. It's dreary.
I'm looking forward to the day when I no longer have to wear a jacket to work. I miss green grass and sunshine. I wish they'd hurry up and return from their vacation. My fever needs a cure.
