My summer job has come to an end. It was a fabulous learning experience. Twelve weeks of being the boss. I dealt with a lot of crap and met some incredible people. I was happy with the inner-city atmosphere -- it was a fresh change of pace.

The highlights of this summer included:

16 billion hours of commuting.

A major budgeting crisis.

An outbreak of the swine flu.

12 million band-aids.

3 thousand ice packs.

One cracked opened head.

One report of domestic abuse.

A mountain of paperwork.

One lifeguard rescue.

Lots of punk-arse attitude.

Wednesday field trips (x2).

A crazy-lady boss.

Four amazing female co-workers.

Two terrific male co-workers.

Another hilarious dating story.

Friday swim days & a tan.

One large white bus.

Zero automobile accidents.

And 40 adorable children.

Sorry it's over.

Happy it's over.

Done & done.
