10/28/10

Dear Aunt Diane,

I know how much you like these letters -- so this one's for you! Thank you for all your love and support over the years. It was so good to see you and Grandma the other night. Familiar faces remind me of home.

Dear Field Trip Adventure,

84 kids. 1 school bus. And me.
Yep: That. Seriously. Happened.
I don't know how I get myself into these things.

Dear Utah Jazz,

I love everything that's associated with you: the friends, the game-day parties (Iggy's anyone?), and Mallory's enthusiasm. I don't know how on earth I ended up in the middle of this basketball mix -- sports aren't exactly my forte -- but I sure do like it.

Dear Bite-Size Snickers/Twix/Almond Joy/Kit-Kat Bars,

You sneeky little devils. You spin my students out of control and make my belly just a wee bit rounder. I'd appreciate it if you were bigger in size and harder to resist. This bite-size business does me in.

Dear 12:20 AM,

Um, hello. Where did you come from?

Dear Emma:
Thanks for my Very Own Letter!!! I feel truly special. For real. I loved seeing you walk into that auditorium; you are classy and confident and fun. Good combo!
And I'm impressed you survived the bus incident with the 84 kids. Wowza. And I'm with you on the bite-size Temptations. Especially Almond Joys and Mounds. Mercifully I gave a bunch away tonight to Trick-or-Treaters!
