5 things

01. Four words: Indian summer, please stay.

02. I skipped out on the gym tonight to finish an essay. Bleh. I really hope my grad-student-teacher likes it -- unlike the last one. Our writing styles don't exactly mesh. Apparently my sentences are too short. His, on the other hand, are incredibly superfluous. I would love to ask him why he thinks it's necessary to use a semicolon in an email about a change in our reading assignment. Long-winded much?

03. One of these days I'm going to learn to play the guitar. And paint a picture with watercolors. And plant a garden. And I'm going to travel to London. And write a book. Okay?

04. I am currently obsessed with this song. I'm pretty sure it's the only thing I've listened to since Friday afternoon. Sometimes I think the repeat button is my BFF.

05. Halloween costume? Check. I love this time of year.

Beautiful song, Emma. And put the guitar, watercolors, garden, London, and the book on your "bucket list." You'll get to them, but not all at once; it's nice to have those things to anticipate. What's first??

Emma, I needed something to make me feel good today! The first thing I checked was your blog, and you did not let me down! Thanks for making me smile! I needed it!!
