checked out

It's 1 o'clock in the afternoon and I have already checked out for the day. I don't want to do a single gosh-darn thing. Not good considering I still need to:

-- do my laundry
-- go to the grocery store
-- design and mail two dozen bridal shower invitations
-- read 383 pages before Monday (!)
-- take a mid-term
-- study for said mid-term
-- call le insurance agent (I was rear-ended the other morning. Really?)
-- grade 1,784,230 papers for work
-- write an essay

Why is it, when I have so much to do, that TV suddenly sounds so appealing? I never turn that thing on.
