Yesterday I went to hear Stephanie Nielson speak at BYU. She gave an incredible talk about trials, beauty, and the love of our Heavenly Father. This Mormon Message captures the essence of her talk last night. Watch it if you haven't already -- I promise it will be worth your time.

I have actually had the privilege of talking to Stephanie. Her children attend the elementary school where I work. I spent every morning in her daughter Jane's kindergarten class the year Stephanie and her husband were in their plane accident. Not only have I followed her family's story online, I have witnessed their amazing faith and resilience firsthand. They really are an inspiration to everyone they come in contact with.

I am grateful for every opportunity I am given that strengthens my faith. I look at Stephanie and know that God lives.
