I turned 24 this past Sunday. It was a great birthday -- thanks to my wonderful family and friends. Everyone went above and beyond the call of duty in order to make the weekend special. I was able to catch up with old roommates and childhood friends -- and, of course, I was able to dance off those late night cupcakes in the kitchen with my current besties. I felt truly loved and am so grateful to everyone who took the time to call, visit, or send me a birthday wish.
I like birthdays because they provide us with an opportunity to reflect on the previous year of our lives. Year #23 was such a good one, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've never felt more okay with myself than I do right now -- and it's all because of the things I've learned this past year. I seriously feel like a million bucks.
So here's to 24 years of life and the lessons I've learned so far.
Getting older is such a blessing --
I can't wait to learn & discover & grow some more.
